Why the viscosity of spicule cream changed?

Q: How to solve it?

A: Do not use the spicule purified by strong alkali and acid

Why?

Because the hydrochloric acid or NaOH  are used during purification process , due to the porous and hollow structure of spicule, these harmful solvent cannot be completely removed.

As time goes by, then it would slowly flows out, changing the viscosity of thickener in spicule cream.

There are two main purification methods: acid&alkali purification and enzyme fermentation purification

It is strongly recommended to use spicule extracted by fermentation. Due to the harmful solvent used in purification process cannot be completely cleaned,  the allergy rate after use is higher than that of spicule purified by fermentation.

How do i get spicule purified by enzyme fermentation?

  1. Take off-white color spicule not pure white. Spicule is the bone of spongilla ,which is naturally off-white color instead of pure white. Pure white color spicule might be bleached by sodium hydroxide.
  1. Testthe pH value, the pH should be ≤ Generally, the pH of spicule bleached by alkali will be higher than 7.

Some producer who used harmful solvent may neutralizes it to make the PH ≤7

but the harmful solvent still left in spicule,which is can not be cleaned completely.

       3. Use spicule that have been used for a long time by well-known companies, which is passed their testing .
